Purchased this for my Mother's older i mac. Setup was as easy as plugging it in.
I've used the kensington for awhile now, I like it, somewhat easier for me than my previous d-link. I would recommend it to anyone.
This product worked fine right away - simple follow the directions for install. It took me a little while to get the hang of making the adapter and my devices recognize each other, but it wasn't too bad. I've only used it a limited number of times so far, though.
I was concerned that it might not work on a Mac with a Canon Printer. It does and it was simple.
I was struggling to find a solution for sinking-up my Palm Tungsten E2 with my new HP Vista 64 Bit desktop computer operating system. I don't know why PalmOne doesn't suggest this simple solution. I ordered the Adapter, incerted the installation disk that came in the package, set the Palm to read Bluetooth from my laptop computer and in 5 minutes the computer was reading all the Palm files and loading them to the Palm Desktop software.
That continued to fail, and the computer continued to request new drivers. What a releif. I tried simply using Palm's desktop and the USB cradle to sink up the Palm.
I still had the Palm Desktop installed on the desktop computer, and it worked just as though I was using my USB cradle. The PalmOne website states that the Palm Desktop does not support 64 Bit operating systems. I read several blogs about how others had successfully used the Kensington 33348 Bluetooth USB Adapter.
This saved me tons of time in recreating my contacts list. The blogs also state that this same solution works with Palm Smart Phones as well.
